Sports Travel Grants Oct-Nov 2024

Before completing this application form, you should have read the Sport's Travel Grant Guidelines found on Banyule's website

Incomplete applications and/or applications received after the closing date will not be considered in the current round.  The rounds for 2024 close at Midnight on the last day of February, May, August or November. Applications for each grant period will be assessed in the month following the closing date.

Individual grant amounts:
10% of total costs (travel, uniform and entry fees) but not to exceed $600*. Eg. If costs incurred are $4500, then $450 can be claimed.

*To claim the maximum of $600, your total cost must be $6000 or more and you must submit proof of costs for this amount. 

Athletes living with a disability travelling to participate in an Access All Abilities program or competition amounts:
25% of total costs (travel, uniform and entry fees) but not to exceed $1500**

**To claim the maximum of $1500, your total cost must be $6000 or more and you must submit proof of costs for this amount. 

Team grant amounts:
State competition $250
National competition $350
International competition $500

You are a resident of the City of Banyule or your team resides in the City of Banyule.

You have a letter of support or confirmation from your sporting club or association detailing your selection

You have proof of costs incurred i.e. receipt of airfare, accommodation or entrance fees

You have not received a Banyule Council Sports Travel Grant in the last 2 years.

The event/competition did not commence prior to the opening date of the current grant round.
