2024 - 2025 Social Enterprise Growth Fund

Banyule City Council’s Social Enterprise Growth Fund pool consists of $16,500 available to support social enterprises, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander owned businesses & not-for-profits to create social, cultural or environmental benefits for the Banyule City Council area.

This funding round has 2 purposes:

1. Support for Existing Businesses

To help established social enterprises, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander businesses and not-for-profit organisations scale their operations and increase their social, cultural, or environmental impact.

2. Support for New Business Development

To assist in the creation of new social enterprise models or in the expansion of emerging businesses with a focus on delivering positive outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

You can apply for Social Enterprise Growth Funding of up to $3,000

We encourage you to consider if you require the full $3,000 to enable more organisations to access the available pool.

Important: For simplicity, this application & form will refer to social enterprises throughout. Organisations who meet the eligibility criteria are eligible to apply.

• Specialist Advice: Banyule offers expert guidance for starting local social enterprises and forming partnerships to create innovative solutions for local market challenges.
• Grants Programs: Various grants are available to support environmental sustainability, arts and culture, sports initiatives, community projects, and businesses.
• Partnership Program: Banyule collaborates with social enterprises on innovative projects to achieve sustainable and inclusive outcomes for the community.
